Scheme Participation
Children aged 2-17 in a family which receives a benefit from Centrelink may be eligible for up to $1000 of general dental treatment over 2 years. Eligible families will receive a letter from Medicare informing them of this, alternatively we can check your eligibility if you provide your Medicare details to us.
DVA gold card holders are eligible to have a range of dental treatments covered by the Department of Veteran’s Affair’s Dental Program
As an HCF More for Teeth Preferred Provider, HCF members will receive lower out of pocket costs on a range of dental procedures compared with a non-preferred provider
As a NIB first choice provider, patients with NIB dental cover will have a lower out of pocket cost for a range of dental treatment compared with a non-participating provider.
If you hold a current health care or pensioner concession card you are eligible for Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (MPDSS) dental care. You need to confirm your eligibility and register for the scheme at your nearest public dental clinic. DHS will then send you a letter for an appointment at your closest public dental clinic or a voucher for a participating private dental practice such as Spearwood Dental Centre.
Spearwood Dental Centre is a HBF Members Plus Provider, which helps minimise the out of pocket cost of your dental treatment. The cost of preventative treatments has been agreed upon with HBF meaning that HBF are also able to provide you with a quote on your preventative treatment out of pocket costs over the phone.
